My name is José Noel. My birthday is September 6, 2013. I live in Tegucigalpa Honduras in the community Land of the Father with my parents and 3 siblings (including my sister Evelin Gaitan, who is also in the C4C Child Sponsorship program). I help my grandfather working on the farm.

José’s world.
José lives in the rural highlands of Tegucigalpa, Honduras — in the heart of Central America’s Northern Triangle. He walks hours to reach school when the roads are passable.
In rural Honduras, 48% of children are chronically malnourished. Hurricanes have displaced hundreds of thousands. Families here live in one-room adobe homes with corrugated roofing, farming coffee on hillside plots with hand tools.
