Our Story
We’re changing the world one community at a time.
In 2009, founder Micah Davidson traveled to a village in Ghana. He returned home — but his heart never left.
The beginning
It started with a child.
Vea, Ghana holds a special place in our hearts for a number of reasons, but it all started with the adoption of one special child and one special family. In 2009, Micah and his family adopted a young boy from Vea named Eli. The Davidson family adopting Eli quickly led to this vision of adopting the entire community of Vea.
The community in Ghana had no reliable well, no safe school, and limited access to medical care. Through sponsorship and support since 2009, everything has begun to change. Together, we have installed clean-water wells, built community centers for education and gatherings, expanded medical access, and created opportunities for long-term growth. Today, families are thriving, children are learning, and the community is stepping into a stronger future.
There is something extra special about the hearts of the people in Vea and we feel extremely blessed to have Eli with us and to forever consider the community of Vea our family.
