Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the Community For Change website (myc4c.org), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.

About our organization

Community For Change is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization registered in the state of Texas. Our mission is to provide meals, education, medical support, and community development to children and families in Ghana, Belarus, Nicaragua, and Honduras through individual sponsorships and community programs.

Sponsorship

When you sponsor a child through C4C, you agree to a recurring monthly donation of $40. Sponsorship continues until you notify us of your wish to stop. You may pause or cancel your sponsorship at any time by contacting us or through your sponsor dashboard.

While we make every effort to maintain the sponsorship relationship you establish, there may be circumstances where a child leaves the program (family relocation, aging out, or other reasons). In such cases, we will notify you and offer to match you with another child.

Donations and tax receipts

All donations to Community For Change are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. You will receive an annual tax receipt for your contributions. Donations are non-refundable once processed, as funds are allocated to program services promptly.

User accounts

If you create a sponsor account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Content and intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, photographs, graphics, and design — is the property of Community For Change or used with permission. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without written consent.

Photos of children and communities are shared with the consent of families and local partners. Please do not download, redistribute, or use these images outside the context of supporting C4C's mission.

Correspondence with children

Sponsors may send letters and small gifts to their sponsored children. All correspondence is reviewed by our local program staff to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children. We reserve the right to withhold any correspondence deemed inappropriate.

Limitation of liability

Community For Change provides this website and its services on an “as is” basis. While we strive for accuracy, we make no warranties about the completeness or reliability of information on our site. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of our website or services.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
