My name is Maicol. My birthday is December 24, 2018. I live in Tegucigalpa Honduras in the community Land of the Fathers with my parents and 2 siblings. I like to play with toys and spend the days with my brother and sister. I have a dream of someday being a lawyer.

Maicol’s world.
Maicol lives in the rural highlands of Tegucigalpa, Honduras — in the heart of Central America’s Northern Triangle. He walks hours to reach school when the roads are passable.
In rural Honduras, 48% of children are chronically malnourished. Hurricanes have displaced hundreds of thousands. Families here live in one-room adobe homes with corrugated roofing, farming coffee on hillside plots with hand tools.
