My name is Isaac. I live in Vea, Ghana, with my family. My birthday is March 4, 2018. I love moulding, and my favorite subject is Science. My favorite animal is a bull. When I get older, I want to become a teacher.

The Context
Isaac’s world.
Isaac lives in Vea, a farming village in Ghana’s Upper East Region — one of the poorest areas in West Africa. He attends school here, walking along unpaved roads through the savanna each morning.
In Vea, families depend on a single rainy season — just three months — to grow an entire year’s food. Only 9% of people in the district live within walking distance of clean water. The groundwater itself is contaminated with fluoride levels above WHO safety limits.
