My name is Fernando. My birthday is December 6, 2017. I live in Tegucigalpa Honduras in the community Land of the Fathers with my parents and 2 brothers. I like reading and writing histories about my life. I have dreams of someday being a writer.

Fernando’s world.
Fernando lives in the rural highlands of Tegucigalpa, Honduras — in the heart of Central America’s Northern Triangle. He walks hours to reach school when the roads are passable.
In rural Honduras, 48% of children are chronically malnourished. Hurricanes have displaced hundreds of thousands. Families here live in one-room adobe homes with corrugated roofing, farming coffee on hillside plots with hand tools.
