My name is Eimy. My birthday is May 12, 2018. I live in Tegucigalpa, Honduras in the community Land of the Father with my mom, dad and and 4 siblings (including my brother Cristian, who is also in the program).

Eimy’s world.

Eimy lives in the rural highlands of Tegucigalpa, Honduras — in the heart of Central America’s Northern Triangle. She walks hours to reach school when the roads are passable.

In rural Honduras, 48% of children are chronically malnourished. Hurricanes have displaced hundreds of thousands. Families here live in one-room adobe homes with corrugated roofing, farming coffee on hillside plots with hand tools.
