My name is Ariel and my birthday is October 11, 2021. I live in Honduras with my Mom and little brother, Iker (who is also in the C4C child sponsorship program). My Aunt Fernanda helps take care of us when my Mom is working. I love to play soccer.

Ariel’s world.
Ariel lives in the rural highlands of Tegucigalpa, Honduras — in the heart of Central America’s Northern Triangle. He walks hours to reach school when the roads are passable.
In rural Honduras, 48% of children are chronically malnourished. Hurricanes have displaced hundreds of thousands. Families here live in one-room adobe homes with corrugated roofing, farming coffee on hillside plots with hand tools.
