My name is Andrés. My birthday is July 16, 2016. I live in Tegucigalpa, Honduras in the community Land of the Father with my grandparents and my cousin Briany (who is also in the C4C Child Sponsorship program). I like to drive bikes and have dreams of someday being a professional biker.

The Context
Andrés’s world.
Andrés lives in the rural highlands of Tegucigalpa, Honduras — in the heart of Central America’s Northern Triangle. He walks hours to reach school when the roads are passable.
In rural Honduras, 48% of children are chronically malnourished. Hurricanes have displaced hundreds of thousands. Families here live in one-room adobe homes with corrugated roofing, farming coffee on hillside plots with hand tools.
