Meet Anthony
In Anthony’s own words.
My name is Antony. My birthday is March 27th. I live in Nicaragua, where I attend school.
The Context
Anthony’s world.
Anthony lives in Granada, Nicaragua — one of the oldest colonial cities in the Americas. Behind the painted facades and cobblestone streets, families in the surrounding barrios survive on less than $10 a day.
63% of Nicaraguans live in poverty. In the barrios where Anthony lives, tropical downpours turn roads to mud and make schools unreachable for weeks. 19% of children under five have developmental delays from malnutrition.

Someone already walks with Anthony. Other children in the program are still waiting for a name to say yes.
